How we shortlist UGC creators.
A transparent explanation of what we check, what we deliberately leave on the live marketplace, and what our shortlist does not claim.
What CreatorScout HQ is — and is not
CreatorScout HQ is an independent research and hiring-guide site. We are not a creator agency, we do not employ the creators listed, and we are not owned by or officially endorsed by Fiverr.
Some outbound creator links are affiliate links. That means we may earn a commission if a qualifying purchase is made after a click, at no additional cost to the buyer. Affiliate status does not turn a gig into a guaranteed recommendation.
How a gig enters a shortlist
Start with a specific buyer job
We begin with a concrete need such as a SaaS demo, app walkthrough, screen-recording video, unboxing, fashion UGC, or social-first ecommerce creative.
Check whether the gig positioning matches
We use the public gig title and visible service positioning to decide whether it belongs in that use-case set. We avoid stretching a generic offer into a specialized claim it does not make.
Write an independent use-case note
Our summaries explain why a buyer might compare the offer. They are not copied seller descriptions and they do not reproduce buyer reviews.
Keep volatile marketplace details on the marketplace
Prices, delivery times, ratings, seller levels, package contents and availability can change. Instead of freezing those values on our site, we ask buyers to verify the live Fiverr page.
Disclose commercial links
Creator buttons that can earn commission are labeled as affiliate links and use a sponsored relationship attribute in the page markup.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim to have hired or personally tested a creator unless we explicitly say so.
- We do not convert marketplace ratings into our own scores or rankings.
- We do not guarantee delivery quality, availability, pricing, or campaign results.
- We do not reproduce customer reviews as if they were our own evidence.
How to use the site
Use CreatorScout HQ to narrow the field, then open the live gig and verify the current commercial terms. For important projects, send the same written brief to multiple creators so you can compare scope, rights, turnaround, and communication on the same basis.
Update policy
Pages include a last-reviewed date when we materially update the research. A live marketplace link can still change between reviews. If a gig disappears or materially changes, the goal is to remove, replace, or reclassify it in a future update.
Editorial independence
Affiliate commission supports the site, but the editorial structure is designed around buyer use cases rather than commission size. Our current Fiverr deep links also contain tracking labels so we can understand which categories get clicked; those labels do not change the price a buyer sees.
Questions or corrections
If you spot a broken gig, outdated classification, or another issue, use the contact page. We would rather correct a stale page than leave a buyer with misleading information.
